I decided to be a Student Visionary because my dad is a lymphoma cancer survivor. Similar to our chosen hero this year, my dad was diagnosed with 3B Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2018. My dad is a warrior and even though he was sick and going through chemo, he made time for my family and I, and I also remember going to the father / daughter dance at school. Back in May of 20204, we celebrated his 5 years being cancer free.

 He lost a lot of wieght and was always tired, but that didn't stop him from being the  best dad in the world. I wouldn't be who I am today without him, he was and will always be a fighter.
